New Post: LDAPCP is only looking for AD not for ADFS

you can check SharePoint logs and filter on product/area "LDAPCP" to troubleshoot this.
You should also check the mappings between claim types and LDAP attributes in central admin > security, you'll find 2 LDAPCP admin pages
